Caramel cake and contest winner

I posted a poll on my Facebook page for “what kind of cake you would like to try” . The favors were Pomegranate, caramel, cherry and white chocolate . Out of all these flavors Caramel had the most votes. So I decided to reward who ever voted for the winning flavor with that cake . I narrowed it down to only new York city voters. The one lucky winner was True Flavor from Facebook.
She receiver Caramel cupcakes, she said “the cupcakes are really good”.
The cupcakes are caramel cake with a light fluffy caramel whipped frosting and drizzled with caramel . Here are some photos that True took!

These are cherry flavored jumbo cupcakes, soak in an extra cherry goodness with a light whip cream frosting, so you can taste the cherry flavor !

I was inspired by my kids who love cherry flavor candy and constantly requesting for it this weekend. My kids are my best critics and my biggest inspiration. They love being in the kitchen , just as much as I do! This was a great opportunity for them , their play dates and some friends of mine to try the new flavor.
